Active in the AKC conformation ring for more than fourteen years, Laxfield has bred five AKC conformation Champions to date. Through the pairing of our foundation bitch, Red Rock's Champagne Kisses (aka Kizzy) and BIS Sel. Ex. Am. & Can. Ch. Kismet's Sight For Sore Eyes, "Kizzy" was awarded the highest honor a dam can achieve from the GSDCA, The Register of Merit.

Both of our boys, Champion Laxfield's Hit Man and Champion Laxfield's Tony Soprano truly embody the very best traits of both their parents, Dallas and Kizzy, and are what dreams are made of - great temperament, good health, stellar conformation and terrific family members. Both boys are available at Stud. Both have passed OFA hip and elbow certification and are the personification of the classic American show line.

Chris Martin and Krunch (CH Laxfield's Tony Soprano) are Number 1 Herding Jr and Number 2 Overall!!

Also close to Dawn and John's heart is German Shepherd Breed Rescue.  Dawn is founder and president of Last Hope Safe Haven, a national rescue network for GSD Rescues and has along with other rescuers from all over the country been instrumental in saving over 200 dogs in danger of euthanization in just the past year. Dawn also is proud to have been the recipient of the GSDCA's President's award for her tireless efforts establishing LHSH.
